A clear RFQ is the quickest way to obtain a useful preliminary vessel quotation. Start with process duty, working volume and design pressure/temperature.
Minimum technical information
- Process medium and its relevant properties
- Normal, minimum and maximum operating conditions
- Design code, material and corrosion allowance
- Arrangement, supports and nozzle requirements
- Required inspection, documentation and certification
If some inputs are unavailable, identify them as assumptions rather than presenting estimates as confirmed design values.
